In-house e-coat & powder coat

In 2002, Liberty Spring invested 1.5 million dollars on equipment of superior quality in order to produce an electrophoresis finish also known as E-coat. E-coated springs have a superior resistance to wear and corrosion.

The paint used is Powercron8000 (PPG), a cathodically-applied epoxy resin. The process gives the springs excellent resistance to corrosion and meets the requirements of many specifications in the automotive industry.

Lead and chrome free process

The electrophoresis process meets many requirements of the automotive industry and complies with environmental standards. The products used are lead and chrome free.
